OUR STORY
In 2014, Ariel arrived in the United States with a plan to take a break from his career in finance by exploring the Southwest.
During one of his many coffees stops in small Texas towns, he found himself drawn into a pawn shop, captivated by the old jewelry on display. Perhaps inspired by his father, who spent over 40 years cutting diamonds, Ariel ended up purchasing three diamond rings before he even finished his coffee.
His next stop was 47th Street in New York City’s Diamond District, where he quickly sold the rings at a profit, big enough to fund his travels across the U.S.
However, Ariel sensed that his journey was about to change direction. Over the next few years, he developed his skills and built a network as an estate jewelry and diamond buyer throughout the western United States.
A few years later, Ariel settled in Austin, TX, and founded ATX Jewelry Exchange.
